To use these touring skates with your own footwear, the boots must be high-cut (covering the ankle bone), adjustable, and provide good lateral ankle support—such as stiff-shafted hiking boots.
The skates are adjustable and fit best on boots sized 40 or larger. When renting from the self-service station, an adjustment tool is included so you can fit the bindings to your boots.
Ice claws are also included in the rental price.
